“As President, my highest and most solemn duty is the defense of our nation and its citizens.

“Last night, at my direction, the United States military successfully executed a flawless precision strike that killed the number one terrorist anywhere in the world, Qasem Soleimani,” so declared American President Donald Trump after a U.S. made MQ9 Reaper Drone on January 2, 2020, fired two missiles that obliterated Soleimani and militia members in a two car convoy.

According to Trump, “Soleimani was plotting imminent and sinister attacks on American diplomats and military personnel, but we caught him in the act and terminated him.

“Under my leadership, America’s policy is unambiguous: To terrorists who harm or intend to harm any American, we will find you; we will eliminate you. We will always protect our diplomats, service members, all Americans, and our allies.

“For years, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and its ruthless Quds Force — under Soleimani’s leadership — has targeted, injured, and murdered hundreds of American civilians and servicemen.

“The recent attacks on U.S. targets in Iraq, including rocket strikes that killed an American and injured four American servicemen very badly, as well as a violent assault on our embassy in Baghdad, were carried out at the direction of Soleimani.

“Soleimani made the death of innocent people his sick passion, contributing to terrorist plots as far away as New Delhi and London.

“Today we remember and honor the victims of Soleimani’s many atrocities, and we take comfort in knowing that his reign of terror is over.

“Soleimani has been perpetrating acts of terror to destabilize the Middle East for the last 20 years. What the United States did yesterday should have been done long ago. A lot of lives would have been saved.

“Just recently, Soleimani led the brutal repression of protestors in Iran, where more than a thousand innocent civilians were tortured and killed by their own government.

“We took action last night to stop a war. We did not take action to start a war.

“I have deep respect for the Iranian people. They are a remarkable people, with an incredible heritage and unlimited potential. We do not seek regime change. However, the Iranian regime’s aggression in the region, including the use of proxy fighters to destabilize its neighbors, must end, and it must end now.

“The future belongs to the people of Iran — those who seek peaceful coexistence and cooperation — not the terrorist warlords who plunder their nation to finance bloodshed abroad.

“The United States has the best military by far, anywhere in the world. We have best intelligence in the world. If Americans anywhere are threatened, we have all of those targets already fully identified, and I am ready and prepared to take whatever action is necessary. And that, in particular, refers to Iran.

“Under my leadership, we have destroyed the ISIS territorial caliphate, and recently, American Special Operations Forces killed the terrorist leader known as al-Baghdadi. The world is a safer place without these monsters.

“America will always pursue the interests of good people, great people, great souls, while seeking peace, harmony, and friendship with all of the nations of the world.”

While world leaders still grapple with the ramifications of what Trump has done, as well as Iran now admitting that it shot down a civilian airliner and killed 146 innocent people in addition to launching missiles at a U.S. military base in Iraq, let’s separate fact from fiction, exposing what really happened, contrary to widespread reports across the media.

Targeted Killings

The term “targeted killings” refers to the practice of targeting a specific individual(s) for elimination. As a rule, targeted killings take place outside normal judicial frameworks, the ‘street’ term for this is a “hit,” as countless Hollywood movies have shown.

Unquestionably, the world’s most famous country known for making a point to use targeted killings to eliminate terrorists, security and existential threats, is the Jewish state of Israel. Israel’s Mossad, universally viewed as the most powerful intelligence service, made a point to bring the entire issue of targeted killings into the public eye when they unleashed a very visible campaign dubbed Operation “Wrath of God,” shortly after the murder of Israeli athletes by Yasser Arafat’s Black September terrorist organization at the 1972 Olympics in Munich, Germany.

Briefly, after the Israelis were killed, three of the Black September terrorists were captured by German authorities. Months later, a phony “hijacking” was arranged in a secret deal between Germany’s then Chancellor Willy Brandt and Arafat to free them, plus pay as much as eight million dollars for the ‘privilege.’ In exchange, Arafat promised never to directly attack Germany again. Pathetically, other European countries played the same double game. Out of one side of their mouth they would “condemn” terrorism, swear they would never cave in nor capitulate, then secretly do exactly the opposite. Italy and France, to cite just two nation examples, would often free captured terrorists before Israel or other parties could come collect them.

In the case of Germany, Israel Prime Minister Golda Meir was understandably outraged when she learned of the betrayal by West Germany’s government. This development further cemented her resolve to hunt down Black September members and other terrorists, then make a point to do it in very visible “spectacular” fashion so that a “message” would be sent to Arafat and his ilk. Israel then proceeded to do exactly this, dozens were killed and by doing so countless lives were saved.

One modern myth is that targeted killings are “not legal.” This is simply false. The United States, Israel and many other nations, have always had policies where they will hunt down and kill individuals or groups who are trying to harm or destroy them. The world saw this in the 1970s when Palestinian terrorist groups were carrying out attacks in collaboration with leftwing anarchist groups such as the Baader-Meinhof gang. These members were hunted down by German police, after Israel busted them for selling out to Arafat and helping stage a fake hijacking via Lufthansa, would go on to create one of the worlds’ most formidable counterterrorism forces. Germany let Israel come in and train their officials after the massacre at Munich. This is a key reason Germany’s GSG 9 unit is one of the best today.

Terrorists React

When news broke that Iran’s top terrorist was killed, reactions by other terrorist groups was swift and wholly predictable, literally in keeping with their hate-driven ideology. HAMAS, which is today the illegitimate “government” of Gaza, seized Gaza after murdering more than 600 Palestinian National Authority personnel, forcing their dictator Mahmoud Abbas, to flee to the West Bank, where he remains holed up today and still under threat of assassination. At age 84, Abbas is in the 15th year of his original four year term in office. While the PNA has remained largely silent about Soleimani’s killing, both HAMAS and their fellow terrorist homeboy, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, not only openly condemned it, they also “blamed Israel” for what happened, in addition to Trump.

Not only did they try to pin the guilt on Israel, one expects nothing less from Jew hating killers who argue that Israel has “no right to exist,” they also made a point to attend Soleimani’s funeral, even set up an official mourning tent in Gaza. HAMAS’ brazen support for Iran, has now put it in a potentially precarious position. By openly and increasingly aligning itself with Iran, which is a Shia Muslim country, it now runs the risk of backlash from Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Saudi Arabia and Iran, are ideological and religious enemies, engaged in a proxy war across the Middle East in countries such as Yemen.

Egypt has no real “love” for HAMAS either, who is the military wing of the Muslim Brotherhood. The official doctrine of HAMAS, the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda, the Islamic State (ISIS), even Iran itself, is that Jews are “the sons of apes and pigs.” Most Muslims in the world are Sunnis, led by Saudi Arabia, while Iran is the Shia nation in the world. While most Muslims in neighboring Iraq are also Shia, Iran is still the top country for Shias. Shia and Sunni Muslims have been gleefully killing each other for more than 1,400 years “in the name of God,” because both claim to be the “one truth path” in Islam. The other side is considered to be heretics, and must be eliminated.

With Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and other Muslim countries now starting to openly declare their support for Israel, even officially recognizing the Jewish state, HAMAS must now either turn to Iran or stop being a terrorist group, since everything from its rocket attacks to years ago, suicide bombings, have only isolated HAMAS. This division is so deep, the Palestinians can’t even form a simple unity government, they have always outright lied when they have “promised” to do so. In truth, with Abbas being 84 years old now and in poor health, HAMAS is biding its time as it did waiting for Yasser Arafat to die. After his death, HAMAS moved in to oust the PNA. Their hope is to fully secure everything they need from Iran, to eventually try to become the de facto “government” for all Palestinians.

Israel, aware of what really is going on, has never been in a stronger position to ‘deal’ with HAMAS than it is now. Neither Iran, the terrorist group it controls, Hezbollah, nor HAMAS can count on key members of the Muslim world to still rush to their defense. Even most Shias in Iraq, do not want to be put under the rule of Iran’s Ayatollahs.

“Wag The Dog”

We can ‘thank’ President Clinton for setting this perception precedent. Ironically, when Clinton was President, he ordered a missile strike to kill bin Laden he claimed, during a key moment in the aftermath of his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Clinton was impeached for lying under oath, he was attacked by his critics and some members of the media for “creating a distraction” to take attention away from his problems.

Fast forward now to Donald Trump, and the media went far more ballistic. While investigation by this writer has never turned up any credible evidence that Clinton did launch military strikes to divert focus on his scandal, many have argued that Trump has done so. This is what really happened.

CIA Director Gina Haspel is universally regarded, especially in intelligence circles, as being a top expert, someone who is ruthless in the sense that she will do what it takes to get the right things done, she always builds her “case” where possible, with irrefutable facts. Regarding the issue of killing Soleimani, Haspel forcefully argued to anyone who would listen who mattered, that the risk of terminating him and a few key Iranian personnel who killed many Americans, was worth taking. Her analysis was so specific, she predicted there would be a few military strikes against U.S. assets and personnel, but that Iran would be dealt a very serious blow, since Soleimani was irreplaceable.

As of this writing, Haspel is right. Soleimani’s successor, who was second in command under him, is not in the same league as Soleimani was, he cannot just step in as if nothing has happened. Indeed, now, more than ever, he and many Iranians will be under even more surveillance, as nations look and worry over sleeper cell attacks and rogue individuals who feel that it is their “duty” to kill innocent people or anyone, in response to Soleimani’s elimination.

Trump did not order Soleimani’s killing solely because of impeachment concerns, the truth is not this simple. Instead, he was told by Republican Senators while he was seeking their support, that they were unhappy Soleimani and others like him had not been killed yet. Trump had early into his administration, given local commanders far more freedom than Barack Obama did to hunt down and kill terrorists, including Soleimani. This is especially where it concerned using drones. While Obama oversaw them “hands-on” and signed off on every targeted killing, Trump gave more discretion and leeway to his field forces. When intelligence came in insuring that Soleimani could be killed, the decision was made to do it. This is because Soleimani was truly plotting to murder more Americans, in fact he held his meetings across from the U.S. compound where his conversations were picked up by the National Security Agency. Put another way, it was the perfect storm. Trump not only ordered the killing of Soleimani, since he had long been on a “hit list” for over a decade, he also approved killing his most powerful militia leader in Iraq who was in this convoy. Both died. What most people do not know is that a third target was also hunted down, an Iranian terrorist named Abdul Reza Shahlai, who operates out of Yemen and handles black money and secret funding there. Think about this perfect storm, it was meant to be a 1–2–3 punch. Instead, it was a 1–2.

More Lies

As this article goes to press, Iran has now reported via its Ayatollah-controlled censored media, that it has asked aircraft manufacturer Boeing to “assist” in “investigating” what happened to the downed civilian plane it now admits that its’ own military shot down, after first denying it. Since this writer worked for Boeing and have plenty of contacts there, I called Boeing to ask if Iran’s claim was true. Speaking to their media representative in Washington, this was their reply: “We are cooperating with the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board), that’s the normal process.” Further elaborating on this, Boeing is not going to “help Iran” in any way except through standard investigatory protocols, which demand that Iran turn over the aircraft’s ‘black boxes’ they say they have recovered. Iran has already physically bulldozed the crash site, in violation of international plane crash protocols, they now also claim that their military shot down this Ukrainian plane “by accident,” using Russian made missiles.

One does not expect Iran to tell the truth overall. This is a nation, which has no real freedom of press nor free speech, no real democracy, murders homosexuals, forces women to cover themselves, kills innocent people with impunity as a matter of official policy “justified” in the supposed “name of God” — the too long tolerated proverbial status quo cannot continue! It is a great thing that all sides, thanks in no small part to secret meetings facilitated by the Swiss, are seemingly now standing down to avoid an open, massive war. This is officially, but absolutely not in reality.

For as long as just enough people wrongly “think” it is “just fine” to murder innocent people for the purposes of political or social change, this is the very definition of terrorism that is universally accepted, any chances of either reasonably containing or even significantly defeating terrorism is not possible. The root cause of terrorism, is hatred. Until said hatred is eliminated, many more people are going to die.
