From War to “Ceasefire” — What’s Next for Israel vs HAMAS, PNA?
After firing more than 4,000 rockets into Israel, what now for the terrorist group HAMAS and the Palestinian National Authority? Let’s separate fact from fiction.

When Palestinian National Authority (PNA) President Mahmoud Abbas, who is now in the 16th year of his original “four year term” in office, decided unilaterally on April 29, 2021 to once again “postpone” any pretense of free, fair and open elections in the West Bank territory he rules over, intelligence entities who closely follow what he and other Palestinian leaders do, certainly knew what was coming next — rocket attacks.
This is only because this tired, deadly and wholly predictable schtick has happened before, the last time the terrorist group HAMAS ‘declared war’ on Israel was seven years ago, with Abbas right there supporting them. Just like in all past incidents, HAMAS started this latest war as well, while still claiming to be “victims” of course. Abbas pretends to be a “neutral party” between HAMAS and Israel, while also openly supporting rocket attacks against innocent civilians, as long as they’re Jews.
What is really going on here? What happens next? The answers are obvious, but they’re unpleasant. Let’s start with fundamentals, then finish with clear understanding.
Terrorism
Unfortunately, most people alive today (including those numerous ‘talking heads’) in the media, cannot answer correctly when asked the simple question to explain what the definition of the word “terrorism” means. To be razor clear, the universally accepted definition of the word “terrorism” by most countries and law enforcement is this: “terrorism is the systematic targeting of innocent civilians for the purpose of political or social change.” The two, key, important words here are: innocent civilians.
While one of the most widely spread leftwing liberal myths is that “one man’s ‘terrorist’ is another man’s ‘freedom fighter,’” this has never been true! To be blunt, real “freedom fighters” do not target innocent civilians. Instead, they confine their attacks against government institutions and the military, they do not make a point to target innocent civilians, whereas terrorists do. Indeed, the very point of terrorism, is to terrify. There are no rules, all bets are off.
Understanding HAMAS
To understand not only what HAMAS is doing and why it is that they aim rockets against innocent civilians, one needs only look at the content of their official Foundational Charter, or its formally and openly declared reasons that HAMAS claims concerning why it exists. Inexcusably, almost all of the major media today never talks about the HAMAS Charter and the promises and “mission” of murdering fellow human beings, especially Jews. For if most of the media bothered to read and report on HAMAS’ Founding and the official Charter document, they would be reporting what this writer is now revealing in this article. Let’s examine and then expose this ‘gem’ for what it really is: hatred, racism and open calls for genocide against not only Jews, but everyone who refuses to submit to HAMAS and its self-proclaimed ‘authority’.
HAMAS is not a word, it is instead an acronym for the Islamic Resistance Movement. HAMAS is NOT a legitimate government, it remains in power only by force. While it initially won an open and free election against Yasser Arafat’s Fatah, HAMAS will not allow free and fair elections today, and neither will Mahmoud Abbas who is Arafat’s successor. In truth, HAMAS murdered more than 650 PNA personnel when they seized power in Gaza by force and caused Abbas to flee to the West Bank for his life, where he has been holed up running his dictatorship ever since. Today, HAMAS is biding its time waiting largely for Mahmoud Abbas to die. Since Abbas deliberately refuses to appoint a viable successor, HAMAS stands literally ready to sweep in once he is no longer in power.
In the all important Preamble to the HAMAS Charter, these words appear: “Israel will exist and continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”
Comment: As HAMAS makes clear, it is an Islamofascist group which seeks global domination. Rarely mentioned today by any mainstream media is the fact that HAMAS is the Military Wing of its Islamofascist parent group, the Muslim Brotherhood. The MB seeks global conquest, wants to force the world to submit to their interpretations of Islam. The MB was founded as a ‘counter’ to western secularism, modern technology and progress. It is based on the fanatic, hate-driven writings of Sayyid Qutb, who was “horrified” when he saw “evil” things like men and women dancing together in the United States! Yes, you can’t make this up, but Qutb did. Indeed, most ‘journalists’ who cover HAMAS today and other terrorist groups, don’t even know who Sayyid Qutb was, how radical and racist his views were, the situation is pathetic.
Article 6: “The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinguished Palestinian movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine, for under the wing of Islam followers of all religions can coexist in security and safety where their lives, possessions and rights are concerned. In the absence of Islam, strife will be rife, oppression spreads, evil prevails and schisms and wars will break out.
Comment: Clearly, in HAMAS’ mind, not only is “every inch of Palestine” theirs, everyone must submit to Islam, HAMAS’ ‘interpretation’ of it. HAMAS even ‘assures’ the whole world that without Islam, “strife will be rife, oppression spreads, evil prevails and schisms and wars will break out.”
Yes, it’s not like the Islamofascist regime in Iran has ever attacked anyone, or killed innocent people. Neither has Hezbollah, al-Qaeda, nor the Islamic State, right? In truth, what HAMAS claims here reveals two things: they are hellbent on forcing people to submit to their version of radical Islam, and only under them “followers of all religions can coexist in security and safety where their lives, possessions and rights are concerned.” We have heard this before, it’s called submission and essentially protection money. Under HAMAS’ version of Islam, which has indeed been practiced brutally in history’s past, everyone who is ruled by them must pay what is called the “Dhimmi” or ‘Jizya’ tax. This means that in exchange for a yearly sum of money, HAMAS will “guarantee” their safety.
As even Wikipedia clearly explains it, “Dhimmī or Mu’ahid is a historical term for non-Muslims living in an Islamic state with legal protection. The word literally means a ‘protected person’ referring to the state’s obligation under Sharia Law to protect the individual’s life, property, as well as freedom of religion, in exchange for loyalty to the state and payment of the jizya tax, which complemented the zakat, or obligatory alms, paid by the Muslim subjects.” There you go, folks, while HAMAS continues to outright fool and mislead the gullible mainstream media, Wikipedia isn’t fooled.
Article 7: “The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: ‘O Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.’”
Comment: Really? As is obvious here, HAMAS is openly calling for the outright murder of Jews by all Muslims. The question now becomes: How can HAMAS or any entity holding these views, possibly be a genuine partner for peace? The answer is wholly obvious, they cannot ever be, as long is this is how and what HAMAS believes in and acts on in the form of deadly terrorist attacks, including suicide bombings. Even former American President Barack Obama gave up on Abbas as well, the supposed “moderate” one, compared to HAMAS.
Yet when one reads the real words of Abbas, here is what he said about any eventual two-state solution with the theoretical state of Palestine co-existing in peace with the Jewish state, Israel. In his own remarks when he last bothered trying to ‘negotiate’ a peaceful two-state solution with former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Mahmoud Abbas said in Cairo, Egypt, where these ‘negotiations’ were taking place that, “In a final resolution, we would not see the presence of a single Israeli — civilian or soldier — on our lands.”
Not surprisingly, the Obama Administration and Kerry especially, were caught by surprise, to cite official reactions from the American side of this, back then. Yet to Israel and those who genuinely understand the true nature of Abbas, this was no “shock” at all, it was just another excuse for Abbas to do what he always intended, which is to never reach a two state solution with Israel, and to leave life perpetuating the myth that he “really tried.”
Need more evidence? How about Abbas’ “PhD” thesis which was awarded to him by an Islamic institute. In this thesis Abbas outright denies that the Holocaust existed! After becoming leader after Arafat died, he backed off some of his Holocaust denial statements, yet still claims to this day that, “The Zionist movement led a broad campaign of incitement against the Jews living under Nazi rule, in order to arouse the government’s [Hitler’s] hatred of them, to fuel vengeance against them, and to expand the mass extermination.” Abbas wrote these words in an OpEd piece for the New York Times, who never bothered correcting or exposing his lies.
Today, Abbas doesn’t even bother pretending to do any “negotiations,” the last time he raged on this topic in May 2020 he boasted, “The Palestine Liberation Organization and the State of Palestine are absolved, as of today, of all the agreements and understandings with the American and Israeli governments and of all the obligations based on these understandings and agreements, including the security ones.” In commenting on HAMAS’ recent rocket attacks against Israel, Abbas as usual, fully supports them. This is even more remarkable considering the fact that HAMAS last publicly tried to murder Abbas’ senior official Spokesman in Gaza, Atef Abu Seif, in March 2020. Over the years, Abbas has tried to murder the leaders of HAMAS, while they have also tried to ‘off’ Abbas and his cadres, one can easily Google the Internet to see how both sides have tried to kill the other. What unites both HAMAS and Mahmoud Abbas however, is their collective hatred for Jews.
Articles 11,13: “The land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf [Holy Possession] consecrated for future Muslim generations until Judgment Day. No one can renounce it or any part, or abandon it or any part of it.
“Palestine is an Islamic land…Since this is the case, the Liberation of Palestine is an individual duty for every Muslim wherever he may be.”
Comment: Translation — HAMAS wrongly ‘thinks’ that their views ‘govern’ the rest of the world. Notice that despite having zero ‘authority’ they say “no one can renounce it or any part, or abandon it or any part of it.” Really? This claim has no bearing on reality. HAMAS also has no credibility when they egotistically declare that it is the individual duty of all Muslims to ‘liberate’ Palestine. For the fact remains that most Muslims do not care what the Palestinians do. It is not relevant to them, it does not affect them. One key change during this recent war now undergoing its first ceasefire, is that half the Muslim world didn’t bother strongly condemning Israel for defending itself against HAMAS. This is because the terrorist group no longer ‘enjoys’ the wide support and misplaced sympathy it once had. Abbas has also largely retreated, HAMAS has gotten all the attention.
Article 13 also says, “[Peace] initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement…Those conferences are no more than a means to appoint the infidels as arbitrators in the lands of Islam…There is no solution for the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are but a waste of time, an exercise in futility.”
Comment: Once again any rational, logical person comes back to the same key question here: How can one have genuine peace with any entity who openly declares that peaceful solutions and international conferences are a waste of time, a fraud, that the only path to peace is “Jihad” or “Holy War”? The answer is, however unpleasant, that one cannot have genuine peace when one or more relevant parties holds these views as exposed here in HAMAS’ own words and official Foundational Charter. The same is true with Abbas.
‘Occupiers’
Perhaps the greatest lie about Jews and the very existence of Israel itself as an independent and reborn nation, is that the land was ‘stolen’ by the Jews, taken from the “Palestinians,” which is why this conflict still rages today. This hate-fueled, racist driven claim has always been a lie. Let’s easily prove it.
When one looks at the verifiable history of Israel, we see that around the year 1,000 BC (that’s about 3,021 year ago!), King David unified what was then called the Kingdom of Judea. Israel was finally one nation, it remained intact until it was conquered by other empires throughout time, none of whom were “Palestinians”.
From the years 63 BC to 313 AD, the Roman Empire under Titus, conquered Israel seizing Jerusalem, the Jewish capital. JEWISH, notice it was not “Palestinian.” After Rome imploded, the Byzantines ruled from 313–636 AD. Notice once again, no Palestinians. After the Byzantines extincted themselves, Arabs ruled from 636–1099 AD. Next, the Crusaders ended Arab rule in today’s Israel, from 1099–1291. After the Crusaders deservedly imploded, they also slaughtered Jews “in the name of God,” ignoring the fact that their own Savior Jesus Christ was Jewish as well as all his disciples, the Mamluks took over ruling from 1291–1516 AD, only to be replaced by the Ottoman Turks, who ruled from 1517–1917 AD. When the Ottoman Empire, like the Mamluks, Roman and Byzantine empires also ended up extinct, the British took over after World War I ended and ruled what was now called “Palestine” (thanks to the Romans changing its name from Judacia [Judea] to strip the Jews of their identity.) The British occupied Palestine as ‘conquerors’ from 1918–1948. Then Israel was re-born as a nation, and immediately five Arab countries attacked it promising “to drive the Jews into the sea,” which was their infamous rallying cry for what they claimed was a “legitimate cause.”
Now that the latest ‘ceasefire’ has begun, remember that nothing will change unless HAMAS and the PNA foundamentally change and stop terrorist attacks. Their term is “Hudna,” which simply means a pause, nothing more. No ‘pause,’ is genuine peace. Until the world’s politicians start facing the unpleasant realities and true nature of this conflict, there will be no progress. Israel will continue moving forward, notice how more Muslim countries have official peace agreements with Israel and officially recognize it today, while HAMAS and the PNA increasingly isolate themselves, propped up by terrorist supporting regimes like Iran, naive and disingenuous politicians and media in the west who avoid the inconvenient truths, promise “progress” and end up failing. When true peace fails, innocent people die, entire nations can perish.
